Authentication Basics: Move beyond MFA and go Passwordless, using FIDO and Conditional Access.

Australia - New Zealand, Security

MFA provides organisations an improved security posture to protect against compromised credential attacks. It is often these simple attacks that start a chain reaction that leads to a larger breach or ransomware incident.

About this event

In this session we will show while MFA is a necessity in todays world it isn't a perfect solution. It comes with user experience impacts and frustrations, and can be circumnavigated using simple social engineering or sim swapping tactics.

The next evolution to move beyond MFA is going passwordless, removing the need for users to ever remember any passwords. A world where a user can use their mobile device as their identity to access SaaS Apps, On-Premise Services or even unlocking other devices using our new FIDO2 solution. Importantly all within the constraints of a Zero Trust Conditional Access Tiered Policy, to ensure the device is secure and the user is who they say they are.

In this session Jason Salway, lead SE for Zero Sign-On in ANZ, will guide you through this journey. There will be demos and your chance to see how this all works in different scenarios from Corporate, BYOD to no Ivanti End Point management at all. You will get a chance to ask all the questions about this new cutting edge approach to authentication and authorisation.

We even have a special offer for anyone that wants to take the next step and have a look at the technology with us.
